Adobe had conducted a walk-in drive for Senior QA Engineer or Senior Test Engineer for Test Automation. This profile is mainly for those candidates who have a good knowledge and working experience in Selenium Java.
Here, we will break through the complete requirement process of Adobe. I received a call from Naukari.com and a third party person called me and brief about this profile. So after completing the discussion, he has scheduled my FTF round interview after 3 days.
First Round Interview
There are some questions list that are asked in interview.
- Tell me something about yourself.
- What is Automation Testing, and why we need automation testing?
- What is selenium, and what are the advantages of Selenium?
- What are locators in Selenium? What type of locators in Selenium?
- What is the difference between findElement() and findElements() in Selenium?
- If we get 5 matched elements in inspect element, and want to select only first element, then which method findElement() or findElements() will be a good option and why?
- If any element has two classes then how to write xPath for this?
- Approx 6 – 8 questions were asked me to find the xPath, cssSelector.
- Write a complete test cases on paper for a Login page.
- Given me an object (Duster) and asked me to write all possible test cases.
- At last, the interviewer asked me a puzzle of 3 Bulbs and 3 Switches.
After completing the first round, another interviewer starts taking the second round of interview. The second round of interview is completely based on Java.

- What is Class and Object in Java?
- What is Constructor in Java and why to use a Constructor in Java?
- What is the use of static keyword in Java?
- What are Inheritance in Java?
- What is Polymorphism in Java?
- What is Set, Map, HashMap in Java? When to use them?
- Write a program to find the second largest element from and Array. Try to cover all possible cases.
- Write a program to print pattern

The result is on hold, the interviewer told me that HR will call you for your result.
